Single Moms Mother's Day

Thanks to the generosity of the community, on Saturday May 7th 88 single moms in North York received baskets of encouragement that included flowers, treats, grocery gift cards pampering products and more!

Our Community Care Worker Miriam did an incredible job with the logistics and making this special day come together! 



So many individuals helped make this day possible! Thank you to:

  • The 45 sponsors who put together beautiful baskets

  • Everyone who donated to this initiative. 10K was raised, which allowed us put together the remaining baskets, purchase grocery gift cards and more

  • Alisera Design, Million Flowers and Loblaws for the beautiful bouquets

  • Trudesigns Bakes for the delicious cookies! 

  • Baby Sweet Coffee for the wonderful coffee 

  • The Mother's Day Committee who helped wrap bouquets 

  • All the volunteers who helped us out at Wellspring Church and delivered the baskets to the moms
